Prince Charles is doing the paperwork to claim his pension when he turns 65 tomorrow even though he still hasn’t started the job he was born to do. Charles is the longest-waiting heir to the throne in Britain’s history having moved into that role in 1952, when he was 3 years old. Now, because of his service in the Royal Navy and because of voluntary contributions he has made he is entitled to 110 pounds or roughly 175 dollars a week. Palace officials said today the future king will give the pension to a charity that helps seniors.
