Rob Ford’s controversial Director of Operations and Logistics – David Price – is no longer working in the mayor’s office.

Price is a Ford family friend and becomes the latest member of Ford’s staff to leave in recent days.

Back in May,  the Toronto Star reported that Price had told former Chief of Staff  – Mark Towhey that a source had told him where a video – believed to show the mayor smoking from a glass pipe – could be found.

Towhey then called police.

Police documents have since revealed that Price had been in contact with Alexander Lisi – in the wake of the story first surfacing.

Lisi  is a friend of mayor Rob Ford and he has been charged with extortion for his alleged efforts to recover the video.
