Mayor Rob Ford is back in the news this morning.  He says he wants to attend the NHL’s Winter Classic hockey game near Detroit, but he might not make it across the U.S. border.  Ford’s admission that he smoked crack cocaine in the last two years leaves him with a border problem.  According to the U.S. government and a Toronto immigration lawyer, he could be denied entry to the States.  Under American law, the mere admission of illegal drug use is grounds for a Canadian to be turned away at a crossing.  The absence of criminal charges or a conviction doesn’t matter.

And it seems the Ford brothers are determined to have their own show.  After Ford Nation was cancelled on Sun TV after one episode, Councillor Doug Ford says he and his brother, Mayor Rob Ford, will begin an online series by the same name.  He says they plan to upload the first episode to YouTube before Christmas.  He also says the duo has been contacted by production houses in the U.S. about doing a reality show, everyone from Oprah to Dr. Phil.
