The province’s Special Investigations Unit says at least four officers are believed to have fired their guns in last night’s shooting at the Queen subway station.

An 18-year-old man was wounded and sent to hospital while commuters and holiday shoppers scattered.

The SIU has interviewed three of five other officers who witnessed the shooting and more than a dozen civilians, some of whom have video of what happened.

However, they’d like to hear from more witnesses.

The SIU says the wounded man had a weapon but will not elaborate.
