Tennis Canada has a new President and CEO.
She’s Kelly Murumets.
Since 2007 she’s been President and CEO of ParticipACTION.
Murumets succeeds Michael Downey, who recently left for a position with Britain’s Lawn Tennis Association.
Canadian tennis is doing fine lately thanks to the emergence of Milos Raonic, Vasek Pospisil and Eugenie Bouchard.
Founded in 1890, Tennis Canada is a non-profit, national sport association with a mission to lead the growth of tennis in Canada with a vision to become a world – leading tennis nation.
