After a taste of spring, Toronto can expect up to 10 centimetres of snow, with poor visibility due to blowing snow.

The winter blast has Air Canada saying that some flights at Pearson could be affected.

The airline will waive change fees for March 12th travellers who want to re-book.

Porter is also telling travellers that there could be cancellations and delays into and out of Billy Bishop.

Environment Canada says the weather on Wednesday may create hazardous commuting conditions from the Greater Toronto area southwestwards as roads may become slippery with some of the initial accumulating snow turning to ice.

The system is also expected to bring snow and blowing snow to regions just north of Lake Erie and across the Niagara region.

Winter storm warnings are in effect across southern Ontario from Kingston to Cornwall, with up to 25 centimetres predicted in some areas.
