There is still no news for anxious families waiting for any sign of the Malaysia Airlines jumbo jet that disappeared on March 8th.

Australian officials say search planes spent the day scouring an area of the southern Indian Ocean where a satellite spotted what might be debris. But they didn’t find anything.

Search crews say conditions were ideal for the search but they didn’t find anything. They will pick up where they left off tomorrow.

A Malaysian government official says they are gradually narrowing the search area.

It takes four hours for search planes just to get to the area where the suspected debris was spotted.

There were 239 people on board the Boeing 777 when it disappeared 13 days ago. Two of them are Canadian.
