It’s very cold here in Toronto today, but you can be thankful we’re not in eastern or western Canada where significant snowfalls are expected. Atlantic Canada is under a series of weather warnings as a powerful spring blizzard approaches. Heavy snow is in the forecast for all four Atlantic provinces, but Nova Scotia and P.E.I. are expected to see the biggest accumulations with up to 40 and 50 centimetres of snow expected.
Weather warnings about snowfall have also been posted for much of western and central Alberta. Jasper, Banff and Red Deer are all bracing for a spring snowfall of between 10 and 20 centimetres of snow by tonight.
