A working draft of one of the biggest pop songs of all time is going up for auction.
Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone,” will be auctioned by Sotheby’s this summer.
The draft of the finished song is in Dylan’s own hand – and has a pre-sale estimate of $1 million to $2 million.
The work is written in pencil on four sheets of hotel letterhead stationery from a Washington hotel – and includes revisions and notes.
There are also doodles: a hat, a bird, an animal with antlers.
