The wheels got in motion the morning after the minority Liberals budget.
The Progressive Conservatives had already made it clear they wouldn’t be supporting it.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath didn’t make her thoughts known until today.
She said she’d lost confidence in the premier.
Kathleen Wynne then went to see the Lieutenant Governor David Onley in the afternoon and announced soon after that voters were going to the polls June 12.
She says they will have a choice ”between the balanced approach of a Liberal government that will create jobs and nurture our economic recovery and the opposition party that would put recovery in jeopardy with reckless schemes and irresponsible choices”.
