Premier Kathleen Wynne defended what she calls false allegations made by the Tories over the cancelled gas plants in Oakville and Mississauga and that`s why she launched a $2-million libel suit.

Progressive Conservatives released their statement of defence saying it was in the public`s interest to get answers about Wynne`s involvement in the cancellation of the plants before the last election.

PC Leader Tim Hudak believes his party is the only one hitting the right notes when it comes to job creation.

During a campaign stop at a Mississauga recording studio he said he`s against “corporate welfare“ and would rather lower business taxes to help create jobs than give handouts.

Hudak won`t say if he supports grants to the music industry.

Andrea Horwath believes the Liberals are planning to privatize the TTC.

But the premier quickly threw cold water on the NDP Leader`s claim, saying there`s not truth to that.

Horwath also shrugged off suggestions Ontarians might vote in favour of Liberals over NDP candidates to prevent the Tories from winning June 12th.

She says she`ll respect whatever choice voters make election day.
