With Ontario Place as her backdrop, Premier Kathleen Wynne today announced the Liberal plan to revitalize the waterfront destination.
She started by saying what the plan does not include.
”A Liberal government would not support the sale of Ontario Place land to build condos or other residential development.”
Instead Wynne adds the Liberals would create a year round waterfront community and urban park, including bike and walking trails, playing fields and parks giving families more recreational options.
The premier says a re-elected government would work with the private sector to bring live music acts to Ontario Place year round
In Mississauga this morning, PC Leader Tim Hudak responded by saying, ”this looks very much like a government that really has no plan for job creation.”
And while campaigning in North York, NDP Leader Andrea Horwath called on the other two leaders to join her for a debate exclusively on jobs and the economy.
