Quebec could become the first province to pass legislation that would allow for medically assisted dying.  Bill 52 goes up for a vote today in the National Assembly.  It follows the lead of legislators in Belgium and the Netherlands, where there have been similar laws for more than a decade.

Dying With Dignity has been working for decades to improve quality of dying and expanding end of life choices.

The owner of this radio station, Moses Znaimer, is co-lead patron of Dying With Dignity Canada.
