The studios where all the Harry Potter films have been shot – is going to double in size.

England’s Pinewood Studios is getting a $340 million expansion.

A British government report says expanding the movie-making complex near London – could create more than 3,000 jobs.

A previous proposal was turned down in 2012 – and  some local residents say the project will spoil greenbelt land and put a heavy strain on transport in the area.

More than 1,500 films have been shot at Pinewood, including all eight “Harry Potter” adventures.

“Star Wars: Episode VII” is currently in production at the huge complex.
