Provincial police in Quebec have captured the three inmates, who escaped from a Quebec city-area prison by helicopter two weeks ago.
They were arrested early this morning at a Montreal residence.
Police are not saying how they finally found the fugitives.
The trio – aged 35, 49 and 53 – were awaiting trial on charges including gangsterism and murder when a chopper plucked them from the prison courtyard June 7th.
Shortly after their breakout, it was revealed, the day before they escaped, a judge had loosened restrictions on them.
Their escape set off a worldwide manhunt.
They were added to the Interpol red notice list, placing them among the most wanted in the world.
