Those fans might have been surprised to know that actor Robert Morse joined the hit TV series after a career in Musical Theatre. He won a Tony Award starring in the original Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner says Morse’s performance in the film version of How to Succeed was part of his inspiration for the hit TV series.

And now Morse has returned to the stage. He is appearing in a new dance musical called In Your Arms at Vassar’s Powerhouse Theatre. It’s made up of ten musical vignettes about lovers, each written by a different author. Terrence McNally, Alfred Uhry, Marsha Norman, and Carrie Fisher are among the contributors.

It’s being touted as Broadway-bound.
