Long live the El Mocombo!

That’s the message from Michael Wekerle, who has tweeted that he’ll be making a major announcement tonight at 9 o’clock – at the iconic temple of rock.

Among other things, Wekerle is the co-founder and CEO of the merchant bank “Difference Capital.”

The father of six is an offbeat tech industry trader – who’s been described as a cross between Warren Buffet and Mick Jagger.

Tonight’s celebration was originally going to be a final gig and benefit for charity – but “Wek” as he’s known to friends – is to be handed the keys to the “El-Mo” tonight – after saving the historic rock bar from oblivion.
