Britain’s national air traffic controller says the computer mishap that caused problems in the system has been fixed – and a return to normal operations is continuing.
The agency has apologized for any delays and inconvenience caused by the problem.
London’s airspace was closed due to a computer failure at one of Britain’s two air traffic control centres.
Officials at London Heathrow Airport say there was a power outage at the NATS control centre in Swanwick, England.
NATS controls all of British airspace from two centres, one in Swanwick and another in Scotland.
