One of music’s great song interpreters has died. Legendary British singer Joe Cocker has succumbed to lung cancer at age 70. Among Cocker’s most memorable interpretations was a dramatic rendition of the Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends” at Woodstock in 1969. Cocker’s biggest solo hit was “You Are So Beautiful.” He hit number one and scored a Grammy with his duet with Jennifer Warnes, “Up Where We Belong”.
