The arrests of three Ottawa men on terror related charges may be just the tip of the iceberg. Authorities have a list of some 93 names of radicalized individuals they say are high risk travelers, but so far there have been very few arrests. The former commander of Canada’s Joint Task Force 2, says we can expect that to change as investigations continue. Steve Day says counter-terrorism investigations take time and sometimes it’s a race to build a case before a suspect takes action. Day’s comments follow the release of a ISIS video calling on Muslims in Canada and other western countries to kill their non-Muslim neighbours by any means possible.
