Toronto residents are rallying behind the family of little Elijah Marsh, who died yesterday morning after wandering out of his grandmother’s apartment in the 401 and Bathurst Street area into the extreme cold.  A fundraiser set up online is asking for donations to help cover the funeral for the 3 year old boy.  The page was set up to raise $10,000 toward the cost of Elijah’s service.  Already, $15,602 has been donated (at the time of this publishing).  The campaign page reads, “the death of this child must be truly devastating to the family and friends of Elijah, the many members of law enforcement and medical community in Toronto, as well as the countless Torontonians who helped search for him.”
