In a script that reads more like a Mikey Spillane hard boiled detective thriller, a long time Boston columnist, says the FBI has solved the 25 year old mystery of who knocked off the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston stealing paintings by Rembrandt, Vermeer and others worth a total of $500 million.  Howie Carr, cites “multiple law enforcement sources” in reporting the FBI has fingered ex-con George Reissfelder and a man named Lenny DiMuzio.  This may be impossible to confirm however. DiMuzio took a bullet in a dispute among colleagues and Reissfelder died of a drug overdose.  In an Interesting side note, Carr reports: Reissfelder was free to commit the crime because his court-appointed lawyer, future U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, had his murder conviction overturned eight years earlier.  There’s still a $5 million reward still in effect.
