Some zoomers may remember the days when a dress would cost 3-dollars.  Well, those days are back. At least, they are at Honest Ed’s.  The 400 white dresses that go on sale at the Bathurst and Bloor emporium will be priced at $2.99!  The sign reads:  “Special Occasion Dresses, 2.99, with a Little Imagination!”

General manager Russell Lazar says it’s one of Honest Ed’s more significant sales items over the years, calling the price, outstanding.  He says it’s a dress for confirmation, graduation, even a bride could wear it.

The property where Honest Ed’s has stood since 1948 has been sold to a developer.  It closes at the end of 2016.
