Representatives from three Ontario school boards are at the Ontario Labour Relations Board today to make their case to have the secondary school teachers strikes declared illegal.  The boards in Durham, Peel and the Sudbury area say the strikes aren’t lawful because they’re being staged on central, not local issues.  The new bargaining system the Liberals introduced last year separates local and central negotiations with issues such as money and class sizes being discussed at the provincial table.  The high school teachers say they’ll go back to work if ordered and the teachers plan to rally at Queen’s Park at noon today, protesting the slow pace of negotiations.  A decision is expected later today or tomorrow.
