Toronto Police are apologizing to residents and people who work in the area of the Exhibition Grounds, as streets continue to be shut down in the aftermath of a deadly shooting.
Investigators have confirmed that 2 people were killed (a man and a woman in their 20’s and 30’s ) and 3 injured after a shooting that began at the Muzik Nightclub at 15 Saskatchewan just before 3:30am, where an after party was being held for hip hop artist Drake’s record label inspired O-V-O fest.
Toronto Police Superintendant Frank Bergen updated the media this morning, around the corner from our studios here the ZoomerPlex in Liberty Village.
“What occurred originally in the bar area has spilled out onto the streets, so south and north of this area, we do have three separate crime scenes,” Bergen explained.
