In 1976, Paul McCartney and his band Wings released ”Silly Love Songs.”
Now the 73-year McCartney appears on a new love song with other artists, including Jon Bon Jovi and Sheryl Crow.
”Love Song to the Earth,” was released Friday on Apple Music via Connect and iTunes.
The song about climate change will receive wide released a week from now, on September 11.
It was written to support a UN conference in Paris this December that’s aimed at reaching a deal with over 190 countries to prevent global warming reaching dangerous levels.
Proceeds will benefit the United Nations Foundation and Friends of the Earth.
