New York’s Museum of Modern Art is devoting an entire floor to the sculptures of Pablo Picasso.
It is the first major U.S. museum display of Picasso’s three-dimension work in nearly 50-years.
From his earliest piece, a tiny terra cotta of a seated woman created in 1902, to the head of a woman made more than 60-years later, “Picasso Sculpture”, features more than 140 works on loan from private and public collections.
MoMA is the only North American venue hosting this particular exhibition. It opened Monday and runs through February 7, 2016.
