The Great White Way has found it’s next Captain Hook.
The producers of “Finding Neverland” have announced that Terrence Mann – a three-time Tony Award nominee will play the dual role of theatrical producer Charles Frohman and the fearsome Captain Hook.
Mann was last seen on Broadway in “Pippin.”
“Finding Neverland” is adapted from the 2004 film of the same name – about a widow whose four young sons inspired author J.M. Barrie to write the children’s classic “Peter Pan.”
Mann originated the roles of the Beast in “Beauty and the Beast,” Inspector Javert in “Les Miserables” and Rum Tum Tugger in “Cats.”
He’ll star opposite ex-“Glee” star Matthew Morrison as Barrie – starting September 29th – taking over from Anthony Warlow, who, in turn, took over from Kelsey Grammer.
