Air Canada says it has come to a tentative, 10-year contract deal – with the union that represents more than 7,000 of its flight attendants.

The terms of the agreement – with the Canadian Union of Public Employees – haven’t been disclosed – because a ratification vote is still needed by union members – and the tentative deal needs to be accepted by the Air Canada board of directors.

This is the fifth collective agreement reached between the airline and employees in the last year – including a 10-year collective agreement with 3,000 pilots – that was ratified in October of  2014.
