The Deloro War Memorial was officially unveiled this weekend north of Belleville. It`s the worlds first digital cenotaph. Apparently, a bar code has been etched into the three metre black granite obelisk. Scanning it with a smartphone or tablet provides the visitor with information about Deloro`s role in two world wars. Stelite and cobalt, useful in the maufacture of ammunition, were mined in Deloro.
