TWO ADVOCACY GROUPS ISSUE BLUEPRINT ON MEDICALLY ASSISTED DYING

Now that there’s a new government, two major advocacy groups have come out with a blueprint – containing recommendations for leadership on the issue of doctor-assisted death.

And the groups – Dying with Dignity Canada and the B-C Civil Liberties Association go even further.

They say a three-member federal panel created to study the issue – should be disbanded.

Both organizations want the incoming Liberal government to collaborate with a provincial-territorial advisory group – which Dying with Dignity says contains “a stellar panel of experts.”
