The province and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union have ratified a new three-year deal.
It’s known as a “net-zero” agreement and remains consistent with the plan outlined by the government.
There’ll be no wage increases for the more than 35-thousand workers this year or next.
But, in 2016 there’ll be a 1.4 percent one-time lump sum payment – that the government says is not part of OPSEU’s base salaries.
Then there’s a 1.4 percent pay hike in 20-17.
