February’s Berlin film festival will include theatre director Michael Grandage’s film debut. His movie “Genius,” stars Colin Firth, Jude Law and Nicole Kidman.
“Genius,” chronicles the time Max Perkins was book editor at Scribner – overseeing work by major authors including Ernest Hemingway and Thomas Wolfe.
The Berlin festival has also announced that the Coen brothers’ “Hail, Caesar!” will open the event on February 11th.
There’s also an adaptation of “Alone in Berlin,” a novel by Hans Fallada about a German couple opposing Nazi rule during the Second World War. It stars Brendan Gleeson and Emma Thompson.
