A member of one of Canada’s wealthiest families will plead guilty to impaired driving charges in a crash last year that killed three siblings and their grandfather.
Marco Muzzo will do so when he returns to court February 4.
Speaking outside Newmarket court, his lawyer Brian Greenspan says what’s driving the resolution is his client’s true remorse and acceptance of responsibility.
Greenspan said there was no plea deal, that he and the Crown will make different arguments during a sentencing hearing that starts February 23.
Also outside court, Jennifer Neville-Lake, who lost her three young children and her father, says a guilty plea would not bring them back.
