A poll released at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland Wednesday puts Canada 2nd on its list of Best Countries in the World.
The report was prepared by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, the U.S. News and World Report and global brand consultants BAV Consulting.
Only Germany finished ahead of Canada, with the UK, United States and Sweden rounding out the top 5.
The survey of 60 countries across two dozen categories says Canada welcomes immigrants and celbrtes diversity, draws some of its identity from its wilderness, has produced a long list of accomplished artists and writers and is a high-tech industrial country with a high standard-of-living.
