The trial of Jian Ghomeshi heard from the first woman to take the stand against the former CBC radio host.
Under intense cross-examination by Ghomeshi’s lawyer, she was accused of not recalling important details of what happened or making up some of her story.
The witness told the trial by judge that one of the things that charmed her about him was the yellow ”love bug” he drove.
But lawyer Marie Henein told court he did not have a VW at the time of their first encounter when the woman said he became violent.
Ghomeshi has pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual assault and one of overcoming resistance by choking.
