Woody Allen is looking to an online subscription service to help promote his latest movie.
The film is currently untitled but it’s a romantic comedy set in the 1930’s starring Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell and Parker Posey.
Amazon said it will distribute the film in a traditional theatrical release this summer followed by a streaming release through its subscription service, Amazon Prime.
Allen is also prepping a six-episode TV series for the online retailer starring Elaine May and Miley Cyrus.
Amazon released its first original film last year by another New York filmmaker; Spike Lee’s ‘Chi-Raq.’
