Canada’s premiers and territorial leaders have come to an agreement on carbon pricing options.
They say they will expand their study of options – that could be adapted to the specific circumstances of each province and territory.
The working group studying options is one of four – announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Vancouver – after a day long climate-change meeting with Canadian first ministers.
Trudeau says they will re-convene in the autumn – when the working groups report back.
