Americans learned a little more about our Prime Minister in a sit down interview with Justin Trudeau on the CBS program 60 Minutes.

The interview is getting mixed reviews with some US residents asking for Trudeau to run for head of state there while Conservative MP Jason Kenney had called some of the Prime Ministers comments smug.

During the interview, Prime Minister Trudeau was asked about what he wanted from Americans.

He started by talking about a person who told him about a candidate who was running for president.

“If this man was indeed running to become, as Americans like to say to be the most powerful man in the world, I just felt like it might be nice if they paid more attention to the rest of the world.“

Case in point, the producers of the show posted a picture of Pierre Trudeau alongside who they thought was his then wife, Margaret.

However, the picture shows the former Prime Minister with Canadian actress Kim Cattrall.
