A new website offers help to theatregoers with disabilities – to assist them in finding Broadway shows offering services they may need – from wheelchair ramps to interpreters of American Sign Language.

The Broadway League joined the Theatre Development Fund to  create the site, “Theatre Access NYC.”

The site allows visitors to filter which performances have captioning units, hearing devices or audio description.

It even highlights nearby parking lots and whether there are escalators.

“Theatre Access NYC” also features show descriptions, reviews, details on the theatres, policies regarding specialty devices and dates when open captioning or sign language interpretations are offered.

Some theatres also list how wide the lobby doors are – and even how high the water fountain spout is.
