The head of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra has resigned.
Jeff Melanson and the TSO mutually agreed to part ways effective immediately.
Board member Sonia Baxendale has agreed to take on the role of interim President and CEO until a new leader is appointed.
Melanson joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in November of 2014 Board Chair Richard Phillips said Melanson wanted to leave to focus on personal issues.
