Keep your eyes on the road Zoomers because your car insurance coverage may plummet June 1st based on a decision by the Liberal government to lower accident benefits.

Personal Injury Lawyer Leonard Kunka tells Zoomer Radio’s Fight Back with Libby Znaimer says the changes to car insurance will mostly affect those catastrophically injured in accidents. Kunka says the biggest issue of these changes is that the care for accident victims that suffer from life-changing injuries like quadriplegia, paraplegia, and brain injuries that completely disable a person is extremely expensive. Lower benefits for these victims means less chance of proper care and rehabilitation.

He recommends that Canadian drivers read up on their car insurance policy to fully understand the changes that will be taking place next month. Zoomers should make sure they are properly protected in the chance of an accident.
