Here’s a novel way to spend a weekend in cottage country this summer and help charity in process. Former Leaf Captain Wendel Clark has his Muskoka cottage listed on Air BnB for $5,000 a night, with a two night minimum, with the money going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Clark says it’s a pretty good bang for the buck.and it helps a great cause. The 49-year old Leaf legend says both his parents have heart disease and he decided to list his cottage on Air BnB as a unique way to raise money for a cause that is close to his own heart.
However, there are rules. No mini sticks in the house, take it out to the yard!
Keep your head up at all times, especially on the dock. No diving unless it’s off the dock.
Keep your hands off Clark’s Cap’n Crunch cereal and (this one is strictly enforced) no shaving although Clark says mustache trimming is allowed.
