Today is a huge milestone for music superstar Cher as she turns 70 years old.

The Zoomer legend says part of her enduring appeal seems to be that her music touches people of all ages, genders and sexual orientations.  In fact, she says while on tour she sees people bringing their children to her concerts and once on Vancouver Island, a 90 year old woman was on TV saying she wanted to spend her birthday with the superstar.

Cher’s career began as Sonny Bono’s sidekick back in the 1960’s.  She then broke through as a solo artist and won an Oscar for Best Actress for the movie “Moonstruck”.
