The latest installment of the Harry Potter franchise has won over fans in London.

Part one of a new play about J.K. Rowling’s famous wizard, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, opened in previews last night to an ecstatic reception from the audience.

The 1,500 who took in the performance were given badges asking them to “keep the secret.” The Cursed Child plot digs deep into the world presented in the Potter novels and involves an artifact from Harry’s past.

Part two will get its first outing tomorrow night.  The play’s official opening is scheduled for July 30th.
