Fan of legendary Zoomer comic genius Mel Brooks will be happy to know he’s not slowing down.

At age 90, Brookes is writing a book, detailing the behind-the-scenes story of perhaps his greatest movie triumph, “Young Frankenstein.”

 

“Young Frankenstein” was Brooke’s Oscar nominated 1974 send-up of Universal Studio’s monster films.

The book will feature interviews with cast and crew members and contain some fun tidbits on the backstory and motivations of the movie’s characters.

“Young Frankenstein, A Mel Brooke’s Book” will hit book stores October 18th.
