TRUDEAU GOVT SECURITY BILL REVIEW TO HEAR FROM CANADIANS

The federal government’s asking you to weigh in online on what you see as 10 key security topics as it moves toward changing the Anti-terrorism Act.
In announcing the public phase of its long-awaited review of the previous Harper government’s omnibus security legislation known as Bill C-51, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale said, ”I think Canadians welcome actually being engaged.”

Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould says the government has to find the right balance between rights and protection.
Canadians can make their views known online until December 1.
The Trudeau government’s promised to repeal what it considers problematic elements of the legislation.
