Lorne Hoedel says ”it doesn’t seem fair and it doesn’t seem right.”
The suit also plans to claim the $25 charge for the first piece of checked luggage has ”unjustly enriched” Air Canada and WestJet and came with nothing extra for flyers.
The suit, filed in Saskatchewan, would include all Canadian passengers who paid either airline the fee after October 29, 2014.
The case can only proceed if it’s certified by the court.
Neither airline has commented.
