Donald Trump’s campaign is denying reports that the Republican U.S. presidential nominee kissed and groped women without their permission.
His lawyers are demanding that The New York Times retract a fresh story in which two women claim Trump touched them inappropriately and against their will.
A Trump lawyer has written to the Times, calling the article “reckless, defamatory and constitutes libel.”
Thursday night, The New York Times and Florida’s Palm Beach Post reported stories about three women who alleged Trump had inappropriately touched them.
And a reporter for People Magazine wrote a detailed first-person account of being attacked by Trump while interviewing the business mogul and his wife, Melania.
His democratic rival Hillary Clinton was campaigning in Las Vegas last night, and told supporters it’s not just women who Donald Trump insults. She called Trump an “equal opportunity insulter.”
“He’s called our military a disaster,” Clinton lamented, “Now, how can you be the commander-in-chief if you don’t respect the men and women who serve in the United States’ military?”
The New York Times interviewed a woman who says she was groped by Trump aboard a plane three decades ago, and another who claims Trump kissed her without permission at Trump Tower in 2005, the same year of that now infamous audio recording during which Trump brags about being able to grab women in the most sexually explicit terms.
