If a provincial election were to be held today, Ontario would have a Conservative Government and the NDP would form Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition.
Aaccording to a Mainstreet/Postmedia poll conducted last week Premier Kathleen Wynne’s approval rating is down to 15% and 58% of Ontarians polled say the Premier should resign.
Wynne has been mired in controversy of late, after charges were laid against her former Deputy Chief of Staff Pat Sorbara for allegedly trying to bribe a Liberal candidate in Sudbury. The poll found more than half of those surveyed believe that Wynne was somehow involved in that case.
